CBAA Fall Intramural Soccer Registration Opens 06/08/2017 

We've made some changes to CBAA IM Soccer.  Thanks for all of the great feedback!

September 5th - Practices begin
September 9th and 16th  -Kickoff Festivals tentatively set for Saturday 9/9 for U07 - U19 and Saturday 9/16 for U5 and U6

Registration fee  $135    

            U05/U06 special discounted rate is $95 until registration closes.

CBAA Soccer has adopted the US Soccer player development initiatives with respect to field size changes and small-sided game formats only. Teams up to U10 (Junior Division Teams) will be grouped by grade as to allow school friends to play together. U12, U14, U16 and U19 (Senior Division Teams) will be grouped by birth year as those age groups may play in the Joint Intramural League. 

League placement and details 

  • Under 5 - Pre-Kindergarten (Age 4-5 yrs old and eligible for Kindergarten in Fall 2018) 

New this Fall: The U05 division will be grouped into teams of 6. Teams will train with our professional training partners and the games will be coached by parents.

  • Saturday morning practices/games 
  • Choose either a 9 am session or 10 am session 
  • First 30 minutes are group training led by our professional training partners 
  • Last 30 minutes include small sided games (4 v 4, no keeper) led by parent coaches and professional coach. 
  • Teams are Coed 
  • Under 6 - Kindergarten (Age 5-6 yrs old) 
    • Saturday morning sessions will rotate between 11:15 am and 12:15pm throughout the season depending on game match up.
    • First 30 minutes are group training led by our professional training partners 
    • Last 30 minutes include small sided games (4 v 4, no keeper) led by parent coaches 
    • Teams are Coed 

Specialized Training Sessions!  All U07 -U 19 Players will have Age Group Training Sessions offered throughout the season.  Sign up will be required for planning purposes.

  • Under 7 - 1st Grade 
    • Practices held on Tuesdays, Wednesday or Thursday evenings (Friday rain-date) 
      • Schedules will be posted in advance of the season 
      • Parent Coaches will lead the team practices on the off weeks of professional trainers
    • Parent coaches lead games on weekends 
    • Small-sided game format – 4 v 4 no goal keeper 
    • Teams are gender specific 
  • Under 8 - 2nd Grade 
    • Practices held on Tuesdays, Wednesday or Thursday evenings (Friday rain-date) 
      • Schedules will be posted in advance of the season

  • Will follow a player draft for team formation to ensure fair and evenly matched teams 
  • Practices held on Tuesdays, Wednesday or Thursday evenings (Monday rain-date) 
    • Schedules will be posted in advance of the season 
    • Parent Coaches will lead the team practices on the off weeks of Total Soccer 
  • Parent coaches lead games on weekends 
  • Regular game format – 9 v 9 which includes a goal keeper 
  • Teams are gender specific 
  • All games will have a professional referee 
  • Under 14 
    • 2004 and 2005 birth years 
    • Will Participate in the Joint Intramural League and play other clubs 
    • Will follow a player draft for team formation to ensure fair and evenly matched teams 
    • Practices held on Tuesdays, Wednesday or Thursday evenings (Monday rain-date) 
      • Schedules will be posted in advance of the season 
      • Parent Coaches will lead the team practices on the off weeks of professional training
    • Parent coaches lead games on weekends 
    • Regular game format – 11 v 11 which includes a goal keeper 
    • Teams are gender specific 
    • All games will have certified referees.  
  • Under 16 
    • 2002 and 2003 birth years 
    • Will Participate in the Joint Intramural League and play other clubs 
    • Will follow a player draft for team formation to ensure fair and evenly matched teams 
    • Practices held on Tuesdays, Wednesday or Thursday evenings (Monday rain-date) 
      • Schedules will be posted in advance of the season

  • Under 19 
    • 1999, 2000 and 2001  birth years 
    • Will Participate in the Joint Intramural League and play other clubs 
    • Will follow a player draft for team formation to ensure fair and evenly matched teams 
    • Practices held on Tuesdays, Wednesday or Thursday evenings (Monday rain-date) 
  • Schedules will be posted in advance of the season 
  • Parent Coaches will lead the team practices on the off weeks of professional training
  • Parent coaches lead games on weekends 
  • Regular game format – 11 v 11 which includes a goal keeper 
  • Teams are gender specific 
  • All games will have certified referees.

Registration Fees: payable online by credit or debit card only at cbaasports.org 

  • $135 per child if your child has their current Adidas, CBAA issued, player jerseys -- $110 Early bird registration. U05 & U06 special discount registration fee is $95
  • Add $30 if your child needs an Adidas, CBAA issued, player jerseys (2). You may reuse jerseys from season to season. Black Adidas shorts are $10 and Black Adidas socks are $5. 

·        Family discount: Families registering 3 or more players are eligible for a discount.    After registering your first two children, an additional 20% discount will be given to your remaining children off their registration fee(s). This is only available until July 7th when the Early Bird Registration promotion ends.  All players must register at the same time. 

  • $45 Volunteer Buy-Out Fee per child 

What to Expect: Following the close of registration, we will begin to organize our Fall season by ensuring we have the necessary number of coaches and then we will initiate team formations. You can expect
to be notified of team placements by August 18th. 

  • Practices begin the week of September 5th. 
  • Kickoff Festivals tentatively set for Saturday 9/9 for U7 - U19.  U5 and U6 kickoff will be 9/16

Weather and field conditions permitting, practices and games will run through ????th. The weekend of ????will be the rain make-up date 

  • The in-house league is for Intramural and Recreation Players only. No active travel players will be permitted to participate in this program. 

Attempts will be made to reschedule rained out games, but we cannot guarantee they will all be rescheduled. 

CBAA Intramural Soccer leases the athletic fields from the Central Bucks School District, Buckingham, Doylestown & Plumstead Townships; our use of these fields is managed by the District/Township and is dependent upon the overall condition of the fields. 

Note: All players must wear black shorts, black socks, shin guards, and soccer cleats. Bring a ball and water to each practice/game. 

Uniform -- Our player jerseys consists of a "home" green jersey and an "away" white jersey through our Adidas and Angelo's partners. Jerseys may be re-used from season to season. Players who are participating in U12 and above, must have a number on their jersey. Jerseys, black Adidas shorts and black Adidas socks can be purchased during registration. 

Practice Night: 

Practice nights for U07 and above are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 

o Mondays and Fridays may be reserved for rain dates for professional training as well as skills trainings such as goal-keeper sessions and individual training program sessions. 

  • Coaches choose their practice nights. 
  • Players choose which night they are able to practice during their registration.
  • There is no weekday practice for U05 and U06 registrants. 

Team Formations: Teams will be formed based on various factors that include player evaluations (for U12 through U19 leagues), number of seasons played/experience, carpooling requests, coach requests and friend requests. Head Coaches can be assigned up to two of their child's friends, which includes any request for a specific Assistant Coach. 

Parents in the junior division (U10 and under) may request a child's friend to be on the same team as long as that request is mutual. However, we cannot guarantee all such requests. U12 and up will follow a player draft for team formations in order to create fair and evenly matched teams. 

Volunteering: CBAA relies on parents to volunteer their time to support our athletic programs. For parents who are unable to volunteer their time, we offer a buy-out fee so that we can supplement our volunteers with paid help. 

  • Volunteer coaches are needed to make this program a great experience for the children. All coaches as well as volunteers must complete an annual online Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer (EPYS) Risk Management Assessment.
  • In addition, all coaches must be in compliance with the new PA Child Protective Services Laws. All coaches must complete annual concussion training and attend the Positive Education
    Workshop.
  • Lastly, all coaches must attend the Coaches Clinic to be scheduled and run by our professional training partners at Total Soccer.
