CBAA FALL Intramural Soccer Registration is Open!

Registration fee is JUST:

$140 for U05 - U10 

$150 for U12 - U14 

$160 for U16 - U19

All Teams are Gender Specific.  No Co-Ed teams.  Practices are slated to begin the week of September 7th.

CBAA will be adding training sessions conducted by professional trainers and our in-house trainers U10-U16 divisions. More details to follow.

CBAA Soccer has adopted the US Soccer player development initiatives with respect to field size changes and small-sided game formats only. Teams will be grouped by birth year. Exceptions can be made for U05-U10. U12 + age groups must abide by mandated Birth Year groupings.

League placement and details - CBAA reserves the right to combine age groups as needed due to registration numbers. No more than 2 birth years to a group, with the exception of U19 (11th and 12th graders)

The U05 and U06 division will be grouped into teams of 8(max). Teams will train with our professional trainers and the games will be coached by parents.

  • Birth Years 2015 and 2016 are eligible.
  • Saturday practices/games.
  • The first 30 minutes are group training led by our professional trainers. 
  • The last 30 minutes include small-sided games (4 v 4, no keeper) led by parent coaches and professional coach. 
  • Teams are gender-specific.  No Co-ed.

Under 07 & U08- Birth Year 2014 & 2013

NEW!  Training - Players will train under the direction of our Director of Coaching and Director of Operations as well as our in-house trainers with their team coaches. Teams will warm up, participate in activities, and end with a scrimmage.

Goals

  • emphasize enjoyment in playing to cultivate a passion for the game.
  • prioritize individual Development so that all players grow within training and gameplay.
  • create an environment where players have success learning the following topics: dribbling, body fakes and ball fakes to beat a defender, turns to escape pressure, passing and receiving, and shooting.
  • Festivals - Each season, CBAA will enter teams in 2-3 local festivals on Saturday/Sunday afternoons. Players must commit to attending the Thursday before the festival to reserve a spot on a team. There is no additional cost for this.
    • Practices held on Mondays & Wednesdays (Friday rain-date) 
    • Parent Coaches will assist the professional staff with team practices.
    • Parent Coaches will manage the game day.
    • Small-sided game format – 4 v 4 no goalkeeper 
    • Teams are gender-specific 
    • Game Schedules will be posted in advance of the season 

Under 10 -Birth Year 2012 & 2011

  • Practices held on Tuesdays, Wednesday or Thursday evenings (Friday rain-date) 
    • Schedules will be posted in advance of the season 
    • Parent Coaches will lead the team practices
    • Parent coaches lead games on weekends 
  • Small-sided game format – 7 v 7 which includes a goalkeeper 
  • Teams are gender-specific 

Under 12 

  • 2010, 2009 birth years 
  • Will play other clubs in the area
  • Will follow a player draft for team formation to ensure fair and evenly matched teams 
  • Practices held on Tuesdays, Wednesday or Thursday evenings (Monday rain-date) 
    • Schedules will be posted in advance of the season 
    • Parent Coaches will lead the team practices
  • Parent coaches lead games on weekends 
  • Regular game format – 9 v 9 which includes a goalkeeper 
  • Teams are gender-specific 
  • All games will have a professional referee 

Senior League - U14-U19

  • Will play other teams in the area
  • Will follow a player draft for team formation to ensure fair and evenly matched teams 
  • Practices held on Tuesdays, Wednesday or Thursday evenings (Monday rain-date) 
  • Schedules will be posted in advance of the season 
    • Parent Coaches will lead the team practices
    • Parent coaches lead games on weekends 
  • Regular game format – 11 v 11 which includes a goalkeeper 
  • Teams are gender-specific 
  • All games will have certified referees.  

Under 14  2008 and 2007 birth years 

Under 16  2006 and 2005 birth years 

Under 19 2004, 2003 and 2002 birth years

Registration Fees: payable online by credit or debit card only at cbaasports.org 

  • $140 (U05 - U10), $150 (U12 - U14) $160 (U16 - U19) per child if your child has their current Adidas, CBAA issued, player jerseys 
  • You may reuse jerseys from season to season. Uniform and Spiritwear are purchased through the registration or our online store through Adidas.

Family discount: Families registering 3 or more players are eligible for a discount. After registering your first two children, an additional 20% discount will be given to your remaining children off their registration fee(s). This is only available until August 23. All players must register at the same time. 

What to Expect: Following the close of registration, we will begin to organize our season by ensuring we have the necessary number of coaches and then we will initiate team formations. You can expect to be notified of team placements 2 weeks before the season begins.

  • Practices begin the week of September 7
  • The in-house league is for Intramural and Recreation Players only. No active travel players will be permitted to participate in this program. 

Attempts will be made to reschedule rained out games, but we cannot guarantee they will all be rescheduled. Games are played on Saturdays and Sundays.

CBAA Intramural Soccer leases the athletic fields from the Central Bucks School District, Buckingham, Doylestown & Plumstead Townships; our use of these fields is managed by the District/Township and is dependent upon the overall condition of the fields. 

Note: All players must wear black shorts, black socks, shin guards, and soccer cleats. Bring a ball and water to each practice/game. 

Uniform -- Our player jerseys consist of a "home" green jersey and an "away" white jersey through our Adidas store. Jerseys may be re-used from season to season. Players who are participating in U12 and above must have a number on their jersey. Jerseys, black Adidas shorts, and black Adidas socks can be purchased during registration. 

Practice Night: 

Practice nights for U10 and above are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 

 Mondays and Fridays may be reserved for rain dates

  • Coaches choose their practice nights. 
  • Players choose which night they are able to practice during their registration.
  • There is no weekday practice for U05 and U06 registrants. 

Team Formations: Teams will be formed based on various factors that include player evaluations (for U12 through U19 leagues), number of seasons played/experience, carpooling requests, practice day availability, school attended, coach requests, and friend requests. Head Coaches can be assigned up to two of their child's friends, which includes any request for a specific Assistant Coach. 

Parents in the junior division (U10 and under) may request a child's friend to be on the same team as long as that request is mutual. However, we cannot guarantee all such requests. U12 and up will follow a player draft for team formations in order to create fair and evenly matched teams. 

Volunteering: CBAA relies on parents to volunteer their time to support our athletic programs. For parents who are unable to volunteer their time, we offer a buy-out fee so that we can supplement our volunteers with paid help. 

  • Volunteer coaches are needed to make this program a great experience for the children. All coaches as well as volunteers must complete an annual online Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer (EPYS) Risk Management Assessment.
  • In addition, all coaches must be in compliance with the new PA Child Protective Services Laws. All coaches must complete annual concussion training and attend the Positive Education Workshop.
  • Lastly, all coaches must attend the Coaches Clinic prior to the start of the season. The clinic is run by our DOC and trainers.
